Poplar is a fourth-generation family business, established in 1956, limited since 1976. 

Founded in 1956, originally as DS Holmes Plant Hire, the company was rebranded into Poplar in 2002 and has grown into a leading multidisciplinary company with a proud heritage in the construction and hire sector. 

Still owned and managed by the Jones Family, Poplar is run with same founding principles and core values as it did at its formation. Sixty-five years later we’re still based on Rhosddu Industrial Estate, specialising in Self Storage Containers, Internal Storage rooms, Portable Toilet Hire & Mobile Welfare Unit hire, Septic Tank Emptying, Drainage Solutions & letting of Commercial Property.
