3. Does the welfare unit come with fuel, and who is responsible for refuelling?

Yes. All Poplar welfare units are supplied with a full tank of white diesel at the start of the hire. The customer is responsible for checking and refuelling the generator during the hire period.

Customers are strongly encouraged to return the welfare unit with a full tank at the end of the hire. If replacement fuel is required at end of hire, it will be charged at £1.95 per litre.

 

4. Can I hire a welfare unit for a construction site?

We take care of servicing and maintaining the toilets weekly to a high standard, keeping the facilities clean and hygienic, with consumables restocked and the unit ready to use.

 

7. Do welfare units have heating, lighting and power?

Yes. All Poplar welfare units are completely self-contained, providing the essential facilities workers need on site.

Units come with a built-in generator, depending on the model, providing either 6kVA or 10kVA of power. Welfare units also include heating and lighting, making them suitable for use throughout the year, including remote and temporary sites.
